Pens: $5.00 per pen (limit 4 lambs or 2 adults per pen)
Shavings will be available at the Fairgrounds, Straw is not allowed for bedding.
Entry Deadline: June 1st. If we run out of pen space, entries will be accepted by postmark date. Send Entries with payment to Chairperson.

Divisions
A. Fine Wool- spinning count of 60’s & above i.e. Merino, Ramboullet, Targee
B. Medium Wool- spinning count of 50s to 56’s; i.e. Corriedale,
C. Long & Luster Wool- spinning count of 44 to 48s; i.e. Wensleydale, Leicesters, Romney,
D. Classic- primitive breeds. Due to the nature of this classification, sheep should be pure bred. i.e. Jacob, Icelandic, Shetland, Navaho Chuuro, Karakul
White & Colored will show in separate classes & winners will compete for best Division winner.
Breeds with 10 animals & 3 exhibitors will have their own show, with winners competing for best division. The only exception will be Icelandic’s, since this is their National Show; these winners will skip the Division level & compete for best in show.
Judging will be 60% on wool and 40% on conformation.
Classes
1. Ram Lamb - born after 1/07
2. Yearling ram - born in 2006
3. Aged ram - born 2005 or before
4. Ewe lamb - born after 1/07
5. Yearling Ewe - born in 2006
6. Aged Ewe - born 2005 or before
7. Best Fleece - must be shown in individual class above.
8. Young Flock - All Breeds; 1 ram lamb & 2 ewe lambs bred & owned by exhibitor. Must be shown in individual class above.
The judge & chairperson reserve the right to add, eliminate or combine classes as necessary.
