Entry Fees
- Exhibit Only: $6.00 per animal
- Show/Sale: $6.00 per animal
- Pens: $5.00 per pen
Shavings will be available at the Fairgrounds. Straw is not allowed for bedding.
Entry Deadline: May 30th, 2011. If we run out of pen space, entries will be accepted by postmark date. Send entries with payment to the Chairperson.

Divisions
A. Fine Wool – spinning count of 60 & above i.e., Merino, Rambouillet, Targhee
B. Medium Wool – spinning count of 50 to 56; e.g., Corriedale
C. Long & Luster Wool – spinning count of 44 to 48; e.g., Wensleydale, Leicesters, Romney
D. Classic – primitive breeds. Due to the nature of this classification, sheep should be pure bred. e.g., Jacob, Shetland, Navaho Churro, Karakul
E. Icelandic Sheep Show (animals must be purebred to show in this division). If there are not 3 or more Icelandic breeders represented in this show it will be combined with the Classic breeds above, and no ISBONA premiums will be paid.
White and Colored will show in separate classes and winners will compete for best Division winner.
Breeds with 10 animals and 3 exhibitors will have their own show, with winners competing for best division.
Judging will be 60% on wool and 40% on conformation.
Classes:
1. Ram Lamb – born after 1/11
2. Yearling Ram – born in 2010
3. Aged Ram – born 2009 or before
4. Ewe Lamb – born after 1/11
5. Yearling Ewe – born in 2010
6. Aged Ewe – born 2009 or before
7. Best Fleece – must be shown in individual class above.
8. Young Flock – All Breeds; 1 ram lamb and 2 ewe lambs bred and owned by exhibitor. Must be shown in individual class above.
Awards: Sheep Awards: Ribbons to 5th, Rosettes for Division winners. Entries from classes 1-6 are eligible to compete for Best in Division. Division winners compete for Best In Show.
Premium for Best of Show is sponsored by Montana Wool Growers Premiums for Grand and Reserve Champion Icelandic Ewe and Ram are sponsored by the Icelandic Sheep Breeders of North America.
Entries from classes 1-6 are eligible to compete for Best in Division & Best in Show.
The judge and chairperson reserve the right to add, eliminate or combine classes as necessary.
